Our two sisters-Anna, on the left, played the Prodigal, and Cori played the older sister. It was raining lightly that day, and cool.

One of our students played a heckler on the street, making fun of the prodigal’s misfortunes.

Nathan was our cinematographer. Filming a scene.
I am in the green shirt, next to Nathan, at the bottom. Starting clockwise at the top we have Keith (the father), Anna (the prodigal), Jesse (a friend of the prodigal’s), and Cori (the older sister). Keith has done local acting, and was just amazing in his part.

Consulting the script, to stay consistent-clockwise from the young man in the red shirt: Timothy, Keith, Jesse, Anna, Cori.

Keith taking the casual approach to his character. During the filming of this scene, his character is supposed to be on the phone, but his cell phone did actually ring during filming. We thought that was pretty funny.
